Foster Care
Recruiting and Licensing
We recruit, train, and license families that can provide loving homes to children in the custody of the state's Child Protective Services. Once a child is placed in a foster home, Catholic Charities continues to supervise care and support foster families to make sure that the needs of foster children are met.
Community Adoptions
When a family expresses interest in adopting a child that is available for adoption through Child Protective Services, Catholic Charities assists in the process by certifying adoptive homes, matching children to families, and providing post-placement support.
Professional homes provide treatment and care for troubled youth.
