Protecting & Nurturing Children

Children are our future, as the saying goes. They have so much potential to succeed in life if they are given a safe stable environment in which to learn and develop. Catholic Charities touches the lives of children with programs that prepare them to lead safe, healthy, and productive lives.

Youth Education & Skill Building

Our educational programs serve pre-schoolers on up to adolescents with programs that prepare children for academic achievement, but also help adolescents make good choices about their lives.

Foster Care

We recruit loving and stable families to care for children in the custody of Child Protective Services. We also assist in the adoption process when these children find a permanent home with an adoptive family.

Residential Programs

Catholic Charities provides group homes for abused and neglected youth, where they can learn valuable life skills in a safe environment. Catholic Charities also provides a group home for pregnant teens and teen mothers, where they can learn parenting skills and get access to health and human services.
