Case Management
Case Management specialists are assigned to refugee families in need of mid-to-long term, intense services to overcome barriers to healthy, timely and successful adjustment to America.

We believe in helping our families to set realistic goals based on their capabilities, to build their self-esteem and preserve their dignity. In addition, our case managers connect our families with other needed resources within Catholic Charities and within the community.

They follow up on referrals and transport clients, when necessary, to ensure there are no barriers to receiving services.

Very often, our case managers will accompany clients to their service appointments to advocate on their behalf. Our clients learn by example how to advocate for themselves in the future. They become familiar with requirements and paperwork so they are not turned away because they did not understand the process or feel comfortable speaking up for themselves.

Our case managers, often former refugees themselves, are truly compassionate and treat all of the clients with dignity.
